Mantra Hair Salon

I made the worst decision ever by cheating on my hair stylist because i got desperate. When i booked an appointment they said it would cost me $230 for a balayage and a cut and when i got there i told the stylist that i only wanted to refresh my partial balayage since i didn’t want a full balayage and she proceeded to do a full balayage and did a ginger looking color when i asked for chestnut brown. I also asked for short layers and she did little to no layers. She asked if i wanted to do a curl routine and i asked for a blow out then she complained that it would take a while and that she would need some help and mind you my hair is wavy at best not even curly. Her and another stylist used a different tool that is used for coily hair not for my hair type to “stretch out my curls” when my hair can be blown out easily. The bleach she used made my hair brittle and extremely dry and she didn’t even do it to my roots either. When i went up to pay there was a guy who i assume owns the place who told me that i “have enough hair for 4 people” but in reality i dont im just a person of color. The lady at the front desk said that the total was going to be $368 even tho it said online it would be $230 and when i got home and checked my bank account they charged me $401.

Lindsey was so amazing kind spirit, very experienced and great hairstylist can’t wait to come back. When I first walked in the salon, it was the first time I met her, and she smiled at me and knew my name before she knew it was me. And I am so appreciative to the owner of the Salon that opened the door and greeted me with a good morning. I love this place. Can’t wait to come back.

I love this salon! Service is impeccable. All the staff is amazing. My go to is Chelsea for everything and if our schedules don’t align, Lindsay is my new backup and I love her. She gave me the most amazing Cut and color and made me feel brand new after a rough week. I almost hate to spill the beans and keep them all to myself, but I feel like excellence needs to be rewarded and acknowledged. Well done Mantra!
