Mango's Beach Bar

I used to do business here all the time. Came in today has 4 beers, paid, tipped then left. I returned later to be confronted by what had to be the most stuck up snobbish security child I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I do believe that was my very last trip to Mangos ever! There's plenty of other bars along the beach I'm sure would be more than pleased to have my business. This also validates the plethora of other low rated reviews. Which at first I didn't believe until now.

We were extremely disappointed with our experience. The bar advertises a 2:00 AM closing time on its website, yet we were aggressively forced out at 1:30 AM. We had just purchased our last round of drinks at 1:28 AM and were never given the opportunity to finish them. When we questioned why we were being removed 30 minutes before the posted closing time, the bouncers were rude, dismissive, and claimed they didn’t know what we were talking about regarding the 2:00 AM closing time—even though that’s exactly what’s listed on the website. What made the situation even worse was the way it was handled. Rather than simply asking us to leave, the bouncers used physical force to push us out of the bar. There was no need for that level of aggression, especially toward paying customers who were simply trying to finish drinks they had purchased minutes earlier. If your actual last call or closing procedures are different from your advertised hours, update your website and communicate that clearly. The combination of misleading hours, rude staff, and unnecessary physical force made for a terrible experience, and we will not be returning.

Awful experience. I was out to celebrate my friends birthday and I have never been so disrespected by an establishment in my life. Needless to say I will not be returning as well as all my friends and family will not be going to this establishment. Awful employees if I could give zero stars I would. If you agree to do a job then you are there to do that job if you don’t like the job and be complete jerks bc you hate your job then quit its that simple why ruin peoples night bc yours is so miserable. Mangos has single handedly lost over 11 customers and ultimately cost jax beach visitor bc I want nothing to do what a scene that hires people like this. I recommend a complete wash out start over cuz this aint it. And seeing as many other people are leaving 1 star reviews this clearly isnt the first time.

Never in my adult life have I been treated so poorly. I’ve been all over the world to restaurants and bars, yet Mangos was so racist. My husband is a 6’6” white man, who was picked out by the bouncer, and chosen as ‘tired’. We are 35 years old, when we are sleepy we go home! Never will I be back or have anything good to say about this terrible place. If you want to only attract underage, why have a bouncer? Mangos, do better.
