I wanted to use a family owned business for my lawn care after doing it myself for so many years. After using Mad Bacon for one month they scalped my grass (2.5" on St. Augustine grass) and were unapologetic about it. I simply decided to cancel their services. Unfortunately, my neighbors use them and our yards adjoin. They consistently drive over my yard and their equipment pushes my sprinkler heads into the ground too deep. I have had to have them repaired so I marked them with orange flags to indicate where they are. Today they just removed and threw away the flags and ran over my yard anyway. When I confronted them about it they tried to tell me where my property line is which is not true. As much as I'd like to recommend them since they are family owned, I would recommend avoiding them. **The business is trying to deny knowing who I am. My text message thread and credit card charge would say different. The tone in their response says everything you need to know about the company.
Mad Bacon Landscaping does an amazing job on my lawn!!! Trimming, edging, and keeping my hedges sharp! Above the high quality work, the communication is top notch! Kristy is super responsive and a pleasure to work it!
We were Mad Bacon's customers for nearly two years. Honestly the first year was just fine. Prices were in line with competitors and they showed up pretty close to the expected schedule for "full service", doing the mowing edging, trimming, etc... In recent months they stopped trimming bushes, so my wife caught then outside and asked them to do it. They did half of them. A few days later we got a quote to trim bushes for $225, even though we had full service and they previously trimmed those same bushes for over a year. So we reached out for clarification and they said they'd look into it. We didn't hear anything and reached out again. And again. And again. Didn't hear a single word from them for weeks. The lawn guy didn't stop by for weeks either. Then I got a bill in my email. We prepay the month and at this point they hadn't showed up for a while. Given that they apparently stopped prepaid service without telling us and still owe us trimmed bushes, we went ahead and terminated service. I figure they owe me $150-$200 in services not rendered, but whatever. I guess like some of the other reviews said, we were fired lol. If you want to discontinue service, at least raise your prices to an unreasonable level or say that you can't do it anymore because you can't manage the workload or whatever. Ghosting a long term customer, though?
My rear Neighbor hired them with respect to trim branches. Not enough, but last year on their Builder Planted invasive Oak after 19yrs...Considerate to my yard & roof triming so my shrubs & grass get some sun. Gave me a quick reasonable Trim Quote on my 2 front trees! He stacks branches respectfully!
I couldn't be happier with the service I received from this landscaping company. From start to finish, their team was professional and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. They have exceeded all my expectations and pay a great attention to detail. I highly recommend Mad Bacon Landscaping to anyone looking for this service. Five stars for sure.
