I had to bring my kitty Samoa in because she was very sick. This was Monday this week. On Sunday I took her to a vet that was open on weekends because I was scared she was dying. After paying 1200 for not one answer and then trying to sell me more I went with my gut feeling and left with my cat and said I’ll take her to my vet. Got to my vet and within minutes Dr G knew exactly what was wrong. Got her all fixed up kept her overnight and now I have my Samoa back. Been going here 11 years and I will continue driving the 40 miles one way to see my favorite people. People who love animals and life! People who are real and transparent . And people who understand that having a pet costs however this vet here has never broke my bank, never made me feel low never misled me. How can you not love it here where they know exactly what they are doing without a second guess! Love you guys and thank you for taking care of all my babies!
Excellent vet & team! They did an amazing job taking care of my little kitty Millie after she suffered severe trauma from a predator. I can’t thank them enough! Everyone I dealt with was very nice & the ladies in the front office went over my bills and made sure I wasn’t over charged or billed for anything my cat didn’t receive, I really appreciated that! I would highly recommend this Vets office to anyone.
We are so thankful for this family-owned vet clinic! They took such great care of our mini dachshund from start to finish. They figured out what was wrong really quickly, explained everything in a way that made sense, and when he needed surgery they got him in as soon as possible. After the surgery they kept a close eye on him during recovery, having us come in consistently to check and make sure he was healing well. You can truly tell they care about the animals they heal and the families who love them. If you’re looking for a vet family centered, bring your pets here :)
My kitten (Fin) became severely ill. Before going to the Macclenny Vet Hospital, Fin had seen 3 other vets and I was given very little insight into a possible diagnosis or prognosis. The vets at Macclenny helped me understand the severity of Fin's illness and showed me great compassion when I decided to end his suffering. I cannot thank them and the vet techs enough for the respect they showed me and the dignity and care they provided Fin.
If you're looking for knowledgeable veterinarians who are not out to over-charge you and recommend things that your put doesn't need, then you've found the right place. They are wonderful, experienced, affordable, and truly care about your pet. The office is an older building with ample room in the waiting area. You can choose to wait outside with your dog or cat. They have many medications on site, such as flea & tick preventative medications. I have been taking my dogs here for years. I love the reassurance of knowing that my dogs will get the treatment that they need. I highly recommend this vet office.
