I lost my job a month ago and haven’t been able to find anything since. So I reached out for some help. I have myself, my husband and our 4 children. I set up an appointment and told them then how many people were in my family. You would think this is necessary so that they can prepare a couple of bags large enough to feed a family that size at least for one night. But I’m assuming this is not how it works. Everyone gets the same amount no matter the size of your family I guess. Also do they even think about what’s going in the bags they do provide?? I have attached a photo of what I received. Again I am grateful for what help they can provide but how am I suppose to make a meal or feed anyone off of what they gave me. I was second in line. I filled out the appointment form. I filled out another form when I got there that again said I had 6 people in my household to feed. What am I suppose to do with this?!?!
It doesn’t mean that because people go out for food they don’t have a job. You know some of the workers over there. They are very disrespectful and rude. They have no respect the way they talk to people there is this tall white lady over there. She’s very nasty. You guys need to do something about it. She doesn’t know how to talk to people that is very disrespectful myself. Yeah I have a very good job. I go there for my neighbor because she need help but the way they talk. Oh my goodness particular this white lady tall one you guys need to talk to her even myself I can volunteer my time, but I will respect the way I talk to people. I was there the last time I saw the way she was talking to this black couple husband and wife and I have to tell the husband just don’t say anything to her and those white couple come inside. She started talking to them so nice and respectful so what is going on in the world because to me feel like that’s being racist I don’t like to play the rest thing but that’s what it is.
They already have the food bagged for you and only give you beans and rice for a family of 3. ☹️🤦🏾♀️
I love that there helping the community.god bless this church forever and ever.we really appreciate it.
