Lotus Noodle Bar

What a hidden gem in St Augustine. We have visited several times and both were exceptional. Service is top notch and the chef is very engaged with the guest, which you don’t see very often any more. The food is unbelievably delicious. From the starters to the main course you can’t go wrong. If you find yourself in st Augustine you have to stop and check the lotus noodle bar you won’t regret it. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone that is in the mood for a great place that services outstanding food and service. Make sure you make reservations before you come as it is a reservation only establishment.

The restaurant lived up to its excellent reputation. The Hamachi Crudo was the standout, with vibrant, well-balanced flavors. The crab salad was fresh but too heavy on daikon and needed more mango. The spicy duck Tan Tan was rich, earthy, and packed with umami, while the lobster and noodles were bright and had the best overall flavor of the two entrées. Overall, a creative and memorable meal.

The atmosphere is decent, however the food is amazing. Layers of creativity on top of deliciousness, prepared to order with fresh ingredients by an outstanding kitchen crew. Service is attentive without being overbearing. We tried a couple of appetizers as well as entrees and everything was worth recommending. Can't wait to come back again !

Hard to even describe the amazing “experience” my wife and I had. I say experience because there are many places that have good food but the Lotus was more than just great food. It was our anniversary and our first time visiting. Every single employee knew about our special night and congratulated us. The attention to detail was something we have never experienced. From the staff to the food. The chef came and explained our appetizer the tuna sashimi. He explained the broth the flavors and the thought and inspiration behind the dish. The texture of the fish was incredible and fresh. The ponzu was so rich and bursting with amazing flavors. The main dishes I had the lobster and noodles. From the perfect texture of the noodles to the perfectly cooked jammy egg to the deep rich seafood broth was just mind blowing. My wife had the garlic noodle mazeman. Creamy and more settle but equally as delicious. Thank you for such a great meal and experience. This place is a must try if you have never been.
