She misdiagnosed my daughter and did everything in her power to cancel imaging while inpatient that eventually did confirm she had misdiagnosed my daughter. Upon MRI confirming epilepsy, she apologized for the miscommunication... Her notes contained factually incorrect statements and have yet to be corrected. She also tried to discharge my daughter when she was still in a disoriented state (not able to communicate or potty), but that was not a concern for her since she truly did not believe us when we said she had a seizure lasting over 10 minutes, had gone unconscious, and was not breathing at one point.

We had such a great first visit with Dr. McLendon! We were able to get an appointment very quickly, and she saw us right on time. She was kind, patient, and really took the time to listen and explain everything clearly. It’s such a relief to have a doctor who makes both parents and kids feel comfortable and cared for. We’re so thankful to have found Dr. McLendon and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful pediatric neurologist!

Nemours children hospital is overall a great location for sub-care and I seen quite a few in the last year.
