We started working with Chelsea, speech therapist for our son in March, and the progress he has made in such a short amount of time has been incredible. We have seen significant improvements in his speech, communication, and confidence. She is patient, knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly understands how to connect with children while making speech therapy engaging and effective. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her patients and takes the time to meet each child where they are. As a parent, there is nothing better than seeing your child make progress and become more confident in communicating. We are so grateful for the difference she has made for our son and would highly recommend her to any family looking for a caring, skilled pediatric speech therapist. Our experience has been wonderful!
Mrs Chelsea has truly been a blessing to my family! My son has autism and is nonverbal, he’s been going to her for over a year and there has been a tremendous change! He has went from saying nothing at all to slowly saying small words, even short sentences! I am so grateful to have found her, because she is exactly what my son needs! We will continue this journey with her until he reaches his goal! I would definitely recommend her! And let’s not forget about the patience she has with him! She’s truly awesome!
Ms. Chelsea is wonderful and I cannot recommend her enough. She's kind, patient, fun, effective and great with kids. She offers great feedback and advice on how to continue working with your child at home as well. The growth my two year old daughter experienced while working with Ms Chelsea has been priceless. She went from speaking one or two words to counting and naming colors and much more in just a few weeks. I am very thankful.
We worked with Ms. Chelsea for my daughter's speech needs. We had gone to another practice that rushed her, forced her to sit still and barely involved play. My child hated going to speech class and would practice at home. When I switched to Chelsea, I warned her that my child would be bouncy and excited. I worried that Chelsea would be frustrated with her energy. Instead, at that first visit, she let my daughter hop on floor cushions and play with a toy farm. In other sessions, she got to swing while pointing and saying her words. She even got to go into the play room for a couple sessions. Not only that, my daughter would look forward to speech class and I'd practically beg her to leave at the end! She would even practice at home and play the games Ms. Chelsea would do. It was bittersweet when she graduated because Ms. Chelsea had been such a big part of our week. If you're looking for a kind, gentle instructor who follows your child's lead and interests, then ms. Chelsea is it!! You will not regret her calm energy and guidance.
We’re so blessed to have found Chelsea earlier this year. It became apparent that my 2 year old was behind in speech, and being at home most of 2020 definitely didn’t help.
