WE have worshipped at Longleaf UMC, that meets at Freedom Crossing Academy for some time now. We have found to be a very friendly, relaxed congregation that welcomes anyone and every one. The preaching and the music are both thoughtful and inspirational.
Longleaf Church has become like a home for us. Beyond a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the most important elements of my faith journey are the Community With Whom I worship and the Community In Which I worship. Longleaf has encouraged all three of those elements. The joy I experienced when Mandarin UMC decided to have a presence in Northern Saint Johns County is fed each day by what Longleaf has added to the lives of so many. And I am joy-filled when I think about how Longleaf will broaden and deepen that impact in the future.
My family and I have attended Longleaf Church St Johns since it's inception and have enjoyed every moment of it. We love all activities at this church and we can honestly say that we have never experienced anything like this church. It has INCREDIBLE worship that you can really get involved in. The preaching is OUTSTANDING, and keeps your interest throughout the entire message and relevant to life events. The sermons are always inspiring, and pastor Kevin is a gifted communicator. The church has become my home away from home. The community is supportive, and the services are always encouraging. I love the fact that they welcome everyone like family. The kids programs are amazing and probably the nicest members I've been around. It's been a blessing to be part of LongLeaf Church St Johns.
