The Lone Warrior Foundation was a lifeline for our family during one of the hardest times we've ever faced. My mom is a single parent and the sole provider for my 12-year-old little brother, so when she was diagnosed with cancer — it was devastating news. Cancer is hard enough to fight against, but then there is the financial aspect that can just crush you. That’s when The Lone Warrior Foundation stepped in. Their support was nothing short of incredible. They offered financial help, guidance, and emotional support. Thanks to them, my mom could focus more on her health and on being present for my brother. We’ll never forget the thanksgiving turkey and Christmas tree delivered to the house. Truly so kind and thoughtful :) The Lone Warrior Foundation deeply cares for their recipients, they treat them like family. The Love and care of this Foundation in support of single families going through cancer is amazing! I was blessed to have my family & their support while going through my diagnosis and healing. But, to be single and a parent with no help has to be very scary! This Foundation helps those single parents in their time of need with rent, food, transportation and any other needs necessary. Being diagnosed with cancer last year, was a bummer. I didn't know where to look, or where to turn until; I found Long warriors foundation. They assured me, that I would make it through with support and help. Since the day I met them, they've been by my side as well as my son. They help in many ways, through the tough first year they were sticking with me; and I'm sticking with them. We have an awesome support group, we're more like family than a foundation. I can't put into words how much I appreciate the Long Warriors Foundation. The leaders and the members with love and support thank you!
