My son just graduated from their VPK program and we had the BEST experience. I discovered the school via word of mouth. From the moment I toured.. I knew it was for us. On that tour I saw the teachers standing up.. actively engaged with the students. I saw an indoor play area... so the kids always get some movement even if it rains. Everyone we encountered at this school was amazing.. the owner.. the teachers.. the assistants... all outstanding. My son was always happy to go. We loved the school so much we wish Ms. April ran an elementary program so we didn"t have to leave. If you are looking for early childcare on the island... this is who you can trust. Shout out to Ms. Laurie and Ms. Maria running the VPK classrooms. We miss you already.
Amazing daycare! My oldest went here , and now my youngest. A lot of the teachers and staff have been here over 10 years. Have always been caring and very professional.
Lighthouse Prep is the absolute best! My kids love it there so much. I can just feel how loved my kids are there. We’ve been at lighthouse prep for 5 years now and we will miss it when my youngest moves on to kindergarten. Valerie is the most helpful and amazing person and all of the teachers are just so great!
Lighthouse Prep Daycare is amazing! The teachers are caring, supportive, and truly love what they do. Valerie, the director, goes above and beyond for every child—always making sure they’re cared for, even if it’s just with a hug. It’s a loving, safe, and nurturing place. Highly recommend!
I am surprised this school doesn't have lower reviews. My son did not have the same experience as the reviews I am reading here. He has been at a different daycare for months now and loves it there. If your child always seems sad or stressed, trust your gut and do what you can to switch your kids school. His teacher told me that he would just "go with the flow". Everytime I was there to pick him up he seemed lost in the crowd and did not seem to have any friends, which is not his normal behavior at all. They do not have a very attentive staff like some of the reviews mentioned, and I also didn't feel like my child was attending a Christian school.
