Let's start with the positives. People were nice, the associated school is a huge improvement over public for many of the kids in the area. However, the church is not for me. When your in the service, it feels like a nondenominal church, as the name of the church implies with no mention of Adventist. Worship is CCM concert style with dark room, strobe lights electric guitar/drums. No hymns where sung either time I was there, just contempory Christian. Big come/stay as you are vibes with jeans tshirts. I have tried to give it a chance a couple times, but the last time I went they showed clips of star wars film during the service and I knew this was not for me. TLDR more nondenominal church than a remnant SDA.
Not a true Adventist church. I was so disappointed because I have yet been able to find a home church that stays true to biblical principles. I believe this church is trying to hard to blend in with modern non denominational churches and not sticking to the true roots of what seventh day Adventists are truly about. I was mind blown by the practice they do of “accepting you” into the church. They would ask the new people to come on stage and ask them three questions in front of everyone in order to “accept you in.” I was mind blown. Not to mention what those three questions were. Very saddened to see this being done.
Lifepoint Church is truly a blessing in my life. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed and part of a loving, Christ-centered community. The worship is powerful, the messages are rooted in the Bible and speak directly to real-life situations, and the people are genuine and kind. Lifepoint isn’t just a place to attend—it’s a place to grow, serve, and belong. I’m so thankful to call this church my home!
The warm welcome I receive every time I enter creates a sense of belonging. I highly recommend this church to anyone seeking a place to nourish their faith, find a welcoming community, and receive an inspiring teachings. It has truly been a transformative journey for me and my family.
I have been coming to this church for 28 years. The first day I walked in the doors I felt so welcomed that I never visited any other church in the area. I love the up to date services, acceptance and diversity!
