Life Care Center of Jacksonville

So far so good. Husband just arrived tonight . The staff seems nice, only interacted with two but they were very nice and compassionate the building itself looks lovely. It’s kept up well. It’s clean which means a lot. I hope my husband’s stay here is as good as it seems it will be. I’ll let you know later.! Spent several weeks since my husband entered this facility. We have found that all the Staff are wonderful and their main goal is to keep the patient happy of course they’re busy. They need more help but they’re trying their best and as far as I know everybody’s happy my husband is happy. That’s all I care about. I want to give a special shout out to a young fellow by the name of Chris that helps with my husband, he’s terrific. He treats everybody with respect he engages them in conversation. He respects their dignity and he’s just a great person. I hope he goes far in his career. We want to thank everyone at Life Center that we have come in contact with? They all have been so supportive of me, the wife that stands on the side lines and doesn’t know what to do next. We want to thank you from our bottom of our hearts for all that you have done for us. So far, our experience has been pretty good. With a late night transfer to the facility, things weren't quite exact, but as the next day completed, things were in a more positive direction. This is definitely NOT a slight on any of the staff. They were nice, welcoming and helpful. Coordination is just not as easy when you transfer at 9pm. I don't recommend it at all. So far I do recommend Life Care Jacksonville though. We even got to listen to a wonderful performance.

From the moment my mom arrived at this facility, I had a few concerns. She has COPD, uses oxygen, and has dementia, so it usually takes some communication with staff to make sure her oxygen needs are managed properly. We had a few minor issues at first, but the staff addressed them quickly and made the necessary adjustments without hesitation. One person who truly stood out was Sylvia, one of the nurses. She impressed me with how thorough she was when admitting my mom to the facility. She was always knowledgeable, kind, and patient with both my mom and me. From the day my mom arrived until the day she left, Sylvia was a tremendous help. I especially want to thank her for the compassion she shows not only to my mom, but to all of her patients. Nurses like Sylvia are a rarity, and her dedication did not go unnoticed. I was also very impressed with the physical therapy team. They got my mom up and moving right away and encouraged her throughout her stay. I also want to recognize one of the occupational therapists, who regularly went above and beyond by sitting with patients and helping them eat when needed to make sure they finished their meals. That level of kindness and compassion spoke volumes to me and showed that the staff truly cared about their patients. The caregivers, nurses, therapists, and management were all responsive, compassionate, and quick to resolve any concerns. When it was time for my mom to leave, everything was ready. She was dressed, her belongings were packed, the paperwork was complete, and transportation had been arranged. The discharge process was smooth and well organized. I want to sincerely thank everyone from the caregivers to the Director, for making my mom's stay so much easier than our experiences at other rehab facilities in the Jacksonville area. Your professionalism, teamwork, and genuine care were truly appreciated. Thank you all for a job well done!

Our 92 year old grandmother was in the best of care she is one of the most independent people I know, we was surprised that she let her guard down and allowed herself to be cared for, with every visit she could not stop talking about how well she was being treated, there was not one staff member that was not hospitable which gave us peace of mind, this place is amazing and did I mention this facility is very clean.
