I came to the Ribbon Cutting at this new business with the local business leaders and members of the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the successful opening of March Côtier's first of many locations. The owner and his wife and staff are all extremely helpful and excited to be opening up now. I had to use the restroom when I first arrived and I was surprised to see the attention to detail inside. You will love the whole experience and the finest of products they have to offer. Although I didn't taste the champagne or wines they had, I did purchase a very healthy snack item produced in Wisconsin, called Teddy's Tallow Chips. I tried one and it tastes really good. I appreciate that the bag is reclosable and that no seed oils were used in making them. I love the charm of the business itself and of the downtown Fernandina Beach. You'll love it too! Great people!

Loved visiting Marche Cotier after dinner for a classic European dessert: wine and cheese! The woman who helped us decide what cheese to get was very helpful! She gave us a bunch of samples based on what we said we were in the mood for, and we were able to tell her how much we wanted of the three cheeses we selected. You can get a charcuterie board (they have a bunch of options) that you add cheese to by weight, or simply have cheese that you pay for based on weight (same way, just cheese - solo) and they will plate it beautifully with some crackers. It was perfect! We had it with a glass of red wine, each ($15 a piece). For the small amounts of cheeses we had plus the wine and a tip, it came out to $45. Very affordable for such a lovely experience with high quality cheeses we don’t usually have. We wish there was a place like this near us. There is only indoor seating but they have cute French bistro chairs and tables, They also serve coffee and select gelato and have some pastries and sourdough baguettes for breakfast/snacks (and for their charcuterie and cheese boards). You can also get things there like truffle butter, honey, etc.
This new wine bar was the highlight of our weekend! The staff truly went out of their way to create a custom experience by learning our names, offering cheese samples, and even teaching us to saber our champagne bottle. The charcuterie was the best I’ve ever had, and the affogato with caramel gelato is an absolute must-try. Highly recommend stopping by for great wine and great food from an incredibly knowledgeable team!
Funny enough, we found Marché Côtier by accident. One Saturday, the coffee shop we planned to visit was too busy so we wandered a little farther down the street and found this gem. I don’t think enough people realize they serve fantastic coffee, and it’s become our favorite little spot to stop every weekend. Aside from the coffee, they have delicious charcuterie options, incredible cheeses, fresh pastries, dry-aged steaks, and a fantastic wine selection. Our kids love it as well as they offer a glorified kids hot chocolate and kids charcuterie options! All the staff are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to picking out wine and cheeses, and they will let you sample a cheese you’re interested in before purchasing it to ensure it’s what you like. The owners, Greg and Jess, are some of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve met since moving to the area. They take the time to get to know their customers, make everyone feel welcome, and have created such a warm, inviting atmosphere. As a fellow veteran, Greg has been incredibly generous and thoughtful to our family, but it’s obvious he treats everyone with that same level of kindness. What started as a random stop because another coffee shop was busy has turned into one of our favorite places on the island. If you haven’t stopped by yet, do yourself a favor and visit. We can’t recommend it enough!
The coffee here is absolutely amazing! There is truly nothing else like it in this area. From the first sip, you can tell the quality and care that goes into every cup. The atmosphere, the flavors, and the entire experience are something special. It might just be life-changing… or at the very least, it will ruin all other coffee for you! The staff was so welcoming. We will be back!
