Larry's Giant Subs

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands down the best sub I've had in a long time! I ordered the 8-inch Ultimate with roast beef, ham, turkey, and provolone, and it was absolutely incredible from the very first bite. It all starts with the bread, and Larry's nailed it. Perfectly toasted on the inside, soft and fresh on the all over, it was the ideal foundation for an amazing sandwich. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. The meats were piled on generously, the provolone was creamy, the vegetables were crisp, and even the pickles stood out. They were perfectly crunchy and packed with flavor. You can tell these subs are made with care and attention to detail. This wasn't just a sandwich, it was a well-crafted meal. I was completely stuffed after finishing my 8-inch, but honestly, I wish I had ordered the 12-inch because it was that good. That's not something I say very often! Larry's Giant Subs reminds me of a true New York-style deli where quality comes first and every sandwich is made to impress. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu. If you're looking for an outstanding sub, do yourself a favor and stop by Larry's Giant Subs. You won't be disappointed!

While visiting family we decided it would just be easy the first night to get something easy. Decided to pick Larry’s because the in-laws heard it was good. I had a large take out order, the person taking my order confirmed everything after I said it, quite a few subs for kids with strange request’s. Was out the door in about 15 minutes. Subs tasted great, everyone was pleased. We will definitely be returning on future trips.

Nice place for an easy lunch. you can dine in or take out. My Hotdog was just as expected: Creamy and well tasting saussage, a nice combination of sour and sweet. I loved the pickled peppers. Friedly staff.

After a long morning of Uber driving, I found myself at the intersection of Hwy 17 and SR 16 in Green Cove Springs. I turned into an otherwise desolate-looking plaza, save for the oasis, there, that is Larry's Giant Subs. It was time for lunch before returning to St. Augustine! For sure Larry's Giant Subs would have something just for me! I've never been to a Larry's Giant Subs. I figured that visit would be perfect for a Caesar salad, as I often enjoy comparing this kind of salad, in particular, from one establishment to another. I was given a choice between a large or small. I asked the difference and the sweet young lady motioned behind her to show me the size of the bowls for dining in. I was definitely ready for a good size portion of greens! I took a queue from a sign on their deli glass advertising, "Deana's chicken Caesar salad," having been brought back, "by popular demand." So, I swung also for a good dose of protein. Well, I'll say! The chicken was delivered to me steaming on top of that heaping bowl of Caesar salad as you may see in the video clip. I just had to capture the beauty I had noticed about my lunch before I dug in! My Caesar salad was so good and so filling I could hardly finish the last residing croutons at the bottom of my otherwise empty bowl. The parmesan was shredded and the amount used did suffice! The lettuce was a hearty green color all the way through--supple but absolutely of the nutritious sort! I love to see that Larry's Giant Subs doesn't hold back about the quality of the greens they use to make up an entire large salad. The Caesar dressing came already coated very evenly on the greens, which I appreciate. It was a conservative amount of dressing--the perfect amount to serve for all levels of dietary preference when ordering that kind of salad. However, I enjoy dialing up the sensory experience of my Caesar just a bit. I waited until I already finished all the chicken and half the salad before approaching the counter to ask for more dressing. I was happy the girl who took my order obliged my request happily without charging me more for the same kind of dressing. I tried the cherry limeade as a fountain drink, but I'll admit I left a bit of room in my cup to top it off with Starry soda. That made it even more fantastic to wash my salad down with! Next time I find myself out that far at Hwy 17 and SR 16 I'll be sure to stop in, again, and branch out to try something else on the menu! Thanks Larry's Giant Subs of Green Cove Springs! I had the dining room nearly all to myself during my visit, but I can imagine how busy and hopping your location is when droves of hungry people are coming in your door.
