Walked this with my parents after getting food nearby and there is a short little path that leads around some excercise stations and to a long bike/walking path and skatepark. Very cool. The walking path in the park itself was a little rough but still maybe accessible by wheelchair but the pavement on the bike path was smooth enough to longboard on for a while and was a really nice way to stretch my legs after a long road trip.
Great stop during a road trip. I always look for movement, potty, and picnic table at the same stop. This fit the bill. Lots of gated playground area for toddler and a fun caboose to look at (you cannot get inside it). Picnic tables were perfect for eating at. Only complaint is: the bathrooms are not well kept - bugs are everywhere (you might have a beetle or fly going potty with ya) and no toilet paper.
Could be better kept but a great place to take a break from the bike trail. Alot of good things for all ages. Plenty of exercise and stretching stations.
Lots of shade, covered picnic pavilions, a playground, a cool old caboose and right next to the Baldwin Trail.
Nice, Family-friendly park with plenty of shade and paved parking.
