Will and KJ provided exceptional customer service. I had a water pump go out on my vehicle and the entire process from the initial call, quote, and follow up was professional and courteous. Highly recommend this shop for any of your automotive needs.
Good guys to work with...Been going to Craig(before he "retired") and Will for over 15 years. Personal and business vehicles. I have had "are you kidding me?" bills and "Nice!" bills. Bottom line, I know they do it right and stand by their work. Thanks again fellas. See you for the next one...
Will is an absolute Ace! I've always worked on my own cars and trucks until I found lemondes Automotive could never say enough good about these guys thank you for your continued exceptional performance! Skip White
Terrible customer service and workmanship. Took my vehicle in for a quick multipoint inspection (I was there for 3+ hours). Techs are extremely unprofessional using profanity when talking to each other and customers. The main tech that looked over my vehicle dragged the front bumper up the ramp and damaged it. He then denied it and told me there was nothing we could do. On top of not knowing I've been a technician for 10 years, he proceeded to act like he knew what he was looking at. He didn't know how to use a diagnostic scan tool let alone drive a manual car. Wouldn't recommend this shop on my worst enemy. Stay far away, unless you want to waste your time and money.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise people to avoid this place. I brought my vehicle in because of a broken tensioner bolt. I was told the bolt had broken inside the engine block and that the engine needed to be partially dropped to access and redrill it. I was charged $1,400 for this repair, which took nearly 10 days. Two weeks later, my car broke down again. When I contacted the shop, I was told there was no warranty on their work and that they had “done their best.” After pushing for a solution, I was told they had consulted other mechanics and that I would likely need a full engine replacement. I was quoted around $3,500 for that. My vehicle remained at their shop for over a month while they “tried a different solution” while I had to pay for rental cars out of pocket. Eventually I decided to get a second opinion and had the car towed to Tachyon Automotive. They redrilled and repaired the issue properly in two days for $320!! Imagine how pissed off I was to realize I was being convinced to replace the entire engine ($3500) after already spending $1,400 for what turned out to be a $320 repair. When I informed the original shop that a mechanic at Tachyon had fixed the issue quickly and at a fraction of the cost, I was told they weren’t surprised because the other shop had “more advanced machinery.” I will be pursuing this matter further. Trying to get local news involved and I’m asking everyone who endured financial loss due to Lamondes bad business practices to please contact me.
