Lakes at Woodlawn

This place is a joke. No one stops at any of the stop signs. One day a kid will get hit and it will be a big deal. The kids litter their trash all the way up and down the sidewalks on their way to the bus stop each day. I am constantly picking it up. Baker County PD is in here daily. Locals are calling this subdivision the hood. It’s not safe in here. It looks like it is but there is a lot of dealing going on. Just a month or so ago a kid was killed just down the street on Woodlawn. Shot dead. I am ready to move. The HOA President and the Secretary live across the street from each other and make things up so you have to pay fines. He is the biggest hypocrite in here. He has a huge boat in his driveway that is an eyesore and then one of his kids parks his car in the front yard. Someone should write him up for that car being in his yard. Across the street the Secretary has a silver Ford parked half on the road and half on the sidewalk. My kids and I can’t even walk by with the stroller. If you are thinking about buying a place up in here make sure you check it out before you buy. I am sorry that I ever even heard of this place.

Been staying here at my sisters and the head of the HOA is a moron. Talked to him once and the guy has small man syndrome. Today there was a police chase into the subdivision. It is Sunday afternoon and it took 8 Baker County police officers to arrest a guy in a purple Camaro over here by where we live. The police are always in here. It seems like this subdivision is a high crime area. The price of houses here fluctuate. One month you can buy one model house for 275k then a month later the same model is listed for 330k. Do your research before you decide to purchase up in here. Random gunshots are heard here at all hours of the day. Thankfully I am old and my children are all adults. I would not want to raise children in this neighborhood.

This place is a dump. They have cars parked all over the place on the streets. They are parked on the wrong sides of the roads. There is even some with no license plates. Commercial motor vehicles are parked on the streets as well as boats. The head of the HOA even has a boat parked in his driveway. If he can’t follow the rules of the HOA then why should anyone else? This idiot in a white semi almost ran my son and daughter over as they tried to cross the street by the entrance. He didn’t even stop at the stop sign. I chose to buy in an HOA so I don’t have to look out my window and see a boat in a driveway or drive down the streets and have to wait for others to come through before I can go because all of the cars parked the wrong way on the streets. I wish I would have never bought here. Few scary dudes walking around as well. I tell my kids to stay away from them. One walks around like he is high on something and the other one is like a vigilante or something dressed always in red with a weird hat on top of his head. The houses here are selling cheap for a reason. There have been multiple car burglaries here in the last week too. Come check it out before you buy. On the weekends the cul de sac is full of vehicles because the one house there has 5 families living in it. Yes, you read that correctly. There are 5 families living up in there. I am Mexican and we don’t even have that many living here. lol Check this place out if you are thinking of buying here.
