I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I wanted to leave honest feedback based on my experience. This is not whatsoever about the lady herself - she was nice and kind, it’s the end result of my nails. I came in as a walk-in for a gel manicure with extensions and a pedicure before a trip. The technician was nice and able to take me, which I appreciated. However, the quality of the manicure was not good enough to justify the cost. I paid $105 for my hands and feet, plus a $20 tip, and unfortunately the nails were not done with good attention to detail. The gel application is uneven on every nail. The thickness is inconsistent, the shape is inconsistent, and the polish is also uneven. Some nails look overly bulky and have that thick, bubble-like appearance rather than looking smooth and clean. You can also see around the edges where the product meets the natural nail that the application is uneven, which makes me feel like they are likely to lift early. That was one of my main concerns. I also showed the shape I wanted and brought in one of my old nails as a reference, but the final shape was not what I asked for. The slight colour difference between my hands and feet was minor and not the main issue. The main issue was the overall quality of the gel application and finish. For $125 total, I expected much better workmanship and much more attention to detail.
