Kristina Santiago-Naranjo, MD

Dr. Santiago is incredible. Over the past two years, she has identified and solved many of the health issues that were diminishing my quality of life for over a decade while under the care of several other great providers. She is thorough, attentive, personable, and *so* knowledgeable. I also really love the other medical professionals who support the practice. Dr. Santiago will be changing locations later this year, and although I immediately requested to transfer with her, I will miss interacting with her current colleagues.

I LOVE Dr. Santiago and her staff!!! I wasn't happy with my old primary care doctor, so my friend recommended I make an appointment with Dr. Santiago. She immediately ordered a full blood workup that found issues my other doctors missed. Instead of just throwing Ozempic at me and telling me to lose weight (like my old doctor), she adjusted my current prescriptions and prescribed supplements that will address the issues in my blood work more efficiently. She explained my care plan so thoroughly and was extremely patient and compassionate when I asked questions. I'm not kidding: at my last appointment, Dr. Santiago literally sat in the chair next to me and wrote out a daily meal plan for me that respected my vegetarian diet. I've NEVER had a doctor get on my level like that. Each time I leave Dr. Santiago's office, I feel confident and empowered about my health. I've lost 10lbs gradually over the last couple months and my cholesterol and blood sugar are looking much better. Dr. Santiago also prescribes my mental health medicine and made sure to get information from my therapist. For the first time in my life, I feel like my mental health and physical health are aligned! Her staff is WONDERFUL too! I'm so sorry if I'm misspelling her name, but Leydes checked my vitals at my last appointment. She was so kind! She offered to give me my yearly flu shot and was very gentle when I told her I'm nervous about needles. She read over Dr. Santiago's notes and asked me thorough questions to make sure I was still following the doctor's instructions correctly. Her thoroughness ensured that I had a productive appointment. I'm so sorry that I forgot the name of the woman working at the front desk! I absolutely love her and I promise I'll remember her name next time! I was 10 minutes late to my last appointment but she didn't make me feel rushed or judged. She even talked and joked around with me while I was checking in. I had come in feeling rushed and overwhelmed, but she made me feel comfortable almost immediately. I used to dread going to the doctor, but now I look forward to seeing Dr. Santiago and her staff. I've been telling all my friends to see her. Ladies of Jacksonville: TRUST ME. Go see Dr. Santiago.

When I moved to Florida I had to find a whole bunch of new doctors, and where I live there really wasn’t any so I had to travel to Jacksonville. The doctor that I had when I first moved here I did not like, his name is Dr. Lacroix. This is a man who doesn’t look at you when he speaks, looks at the computer, doesn’t check your records to see why you’re there or why I was in the hospital. Also, after the allotted time, which is 30 minutes, he would wrap things up and rush out the door whether you were finished or not. So I decided I was going to find a female doctor that was well rated and affiliated with Baptist. Dr. Naranjo was very efficient, she asked a lot of questions, she got to know me, and she was very knowledgeable, as well as sympathetic. I feel safe with her, and I feel that she genuinely took an interest in me and made me feel like she cared about me. The staff are super friendly and extremely helpful and competent. I would highly recommend her to anybody.
