Knights Inn Jacksonville at Dix Ellis Trail

The room seemed okay at first. We were only staying the one night so it was fine. After checking out they tried charging me a fee that was more than one night at the hotel would’ve cost. We were traveling with our 2 dogs and after leaving my dogs have been itching like crazy. They were fine before staying there but they now have bugs in their fur. I would never stay there again. Would much rather sleep in my car.

I would never again. So I went to this hotel 04/23 and my first room (235) had roaches crawling on the bed, the floor, the tv, the bathroom looked like one of am abandoned house, I immediately requested another room, I was then put in room 201…these photos are what I was presented with and I went back to the office to show the photos and there was no resolution to the filth so I contacted Agoda, which was who I booked through and they contacted the property, mind I only drove to the gas station on the other side of the hotel and the Agoda representative placed me on hold a few tiles and then told me the lady keeps placing him on hold and hanging up on him saying she’s assisting customers, so I drive back past the hotel and there are no guests in the lobby or at the window being assisted and I advised the representative. When I presented the photos to Agoda they told me they were not valid and the property claimed I did not complain about the second room I was placed in when I actually presented the lady with photos of the filth. They will not refund my money nor will Agoda compensate for the disgust and bad experience. $56 I wish I never spent I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a stray dog

Had a horrible experience at this rundown location. Had to change rooms because of an A.C issue. Next morning I go to the office and I'm being told I was put on the DNR list from the last time I stayed. I'm baffled at this point, of course I asked why but he refuse to tell me. Soon after I ran into the manager and complained. (When I come, I usually only stay for 1 night, Im not there for a full day, since check in is after 3pm.) They blamed me of a maintenance issue, their toilet was clogged. Who would of known. Their toilets never work well in many rooms. I wanted to speak to the owner but refused to give me that info. Putting people on the D.N.R. for F.U.N 😑 Discrimination is an issue. And I really didn't like housekeeping walking in on me @10.15 While I was getting dressed. Broken latch on door.
