Kings Crab Seafood Market - Jacksonville

I was here about 2 weeks ago visiting friends in Jacksonville and we decided to grab some seafood while we chill at his place to go with drinking and all. Let me tell you, their seafood, specifically crabs and those legs, was so delicious and fresh that I had to order some to go before coming back to Georgia side of border. They added some spice to the crabs and legs which made them so much more tasteful, and tbh, I don't even think I'd need any added flavor if they are that fresh. What's best about it tho, was the price and the amount of food I got. I don't think you can beat their value when it comes to seafood in that area. And the chef who prepared our food was friendly and definitely deserves a raise!

After visiting several seafood markets, our favorite is Kings Crab. The owner and his wife are Chinese and they have a wide variety of choices. They cook it ready for you, or you can buy fresh ones to take home and cook it yourself. We especially like their seafood seasoning. If you want to taste fresh seafood, we recommend this one.

Just ok... There are better locally owned seafood places that can give a you a more positive experience and quality food. Support your community.

Yesterday was not my first time visiting here, however it will most definitely be THE LAST VISIT! My experience was horrible from the customer service, to the food! On my previous visits, the blue crab trays have been very good. No problem at all, however, the blue crab tray I got yesterday I was not pleased with at all. The crab meat was mushy after trying 2 clusters and the tray also reek of an ammonia smell. I quickly called and informed them about the situation and was told to bring the tray back. Upon my return, to the establishment and proceeded to inform them of my concerns, the customer service was terrible. There was only two men working and they were so rude and very hostile in talking to me. The worker who was running the register was more into his solitaire game on his phone instead of helping me resolve my issue. He also kept assisting that I paid with EBT, and I showed him the transaction coming out of my financial banking record also my Apple Pay. In that moment, I felt as though they were being very judgement and I would never recommend anyone to spend no type of funds with this establishment rather, it is EBT or your hard earn money. When he called the other guy from the back, who I noticed is usually the one who cooks the food. He was also very hostile towards me as well. The customer service was a complete zero and no one deserves to be treated in the manner I was on yesterday. If the customer service would have been better, I would have been open to giving them another try and overlooking the bad sour tray that I received on yesterday, but they lost their opportunity to correct the issue. After being yelled at in the store, I was able to receive my refund. I would not recommend to visit this place for any type of seafood at all. There are other seafood shops locally that will treat the customers with respect and value the dollar that they spend with them.
