Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church

I have never experienced a church with so much love and kindness, full to the brim with the Holy Spirit and every kind of good fruit. Kernan Baptist is truly overflowing in the richness of the spirit of Christ, they are set apart from other others that I’ve experienced - everyone here is genuine and can rely on one another. For the first time in my life, I’ve come to know the meaning of Christian brotherhood and fellowship. This place is like an island oasis in the middle of the troubling waters of this world. Their ministries and outreach programs are far and wide, and give their people ample opportunities to give back to the city and help the vulnerable in the poor, both in spirit and earthly needs. My soul was saved in the process of coming to this church and human language fails to convey the deep gratitude and overwhelming joy that I have because of this place- thanks be to God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Very friendly, great service. Music was well done, instrumentation was pleasing. No big choir, or orchestra. Loved the ease of the service and the overall feeling of calm and happiness. Thank you!

It's a real blessing coming to this fantastic church you can feel the presence of God in the church it's really an amazing place to worship and learn about God and the pastor is amazing!

Our family has been attending for the past two years and we feel very much at home. With young children, I prioritized a place with a welcoming and steady children’s program. Mrs. Kristy and Mrs. Jessica do a FANTASTIC job running the program and making sure all of the staff are vetted and members of the church. I know my kids are safe and engaged in His word. The congregation is a good mix of age and ethnicities which feels so welcoming. Pastor Andrew preaches from the bible but throws in some good humor to keep you awake. Humble people lead the church and that is hard to find!!!
