Ken Greene Contractors LLC built our home. We had constant issues with him not paying attention to details. Our house was off on square footage, septic was placed half way on neighbors property. Luckily the neighbor had were my parents. We tried to tell him the issue that was brought to our attention by the surveyor, he repeatedly failed to listen. Come closing time the bank refused to close. My parents insisted he move it and he threatened to move the septic to the area behind my house and informed me that it would be directly after my porch. That we would be stepping directly onto the septic tank so, my parents gave in and had to give a right of way easement. Multiple issues with his subs and the quality of work. Final straw was when we had been in the house for less than 6 months and our Berber carpet kept running. The guys he sent to “repair” said it could not be repaired because of seams and to patch Berber in a middle of the room was impossible because the weave might not be the same and that the carpet was running because none of the seams had been glued down and could just come up. Ken Greene did not stand behind his warranty and informed us to get a lawyer because he wouldn’t cover it and it would cost us more to take him to court than it would for us to carpet. Constant septic tank and sump pump issues as well. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUILDER. Yes, his homes are cheaper and brick, but you get what you pay for!
Lee and his team were super friendly and helpful. Anything I needed or questions I had they addressed. I am so happy with my beautiful home that my husband and I designed and Lee and his team built. Best builder I ever had. This is not the first time we built a home. But it is the first time the process was so easy. No stress. Thank you . Couldn't be any happier.
My fiancé and I are having a new home built through Ken Greene Contractor, and the experience has been an absolute pleasure, thus far! The staff is extremely responsive and have been available for walkthroughs whenever we’ve mentioned it. With the supply chain troubles, things have gone faster than expected, and we have been pleased with every aspect of the process, to this point. We are so excited that we’re getting closer to completion and cannot wait to get into our new home. We both had heard horror stories about building and both had reservations about doing so. The folks at Ken Greene Contractors have made this process so much easier than we anticipated and I can’t recommend them enough!!
This contractor’s employees damaged the fence on our property and then refuses to fix it! The employee called the day he damaged the fence and told my husband it would be taken care of this was 4 months ago. I sent him a letter and put a note in the local paper but he still hasn’t responded. This is also not the first time that he has caused damage to our property.
255 Days into a 90 day project 24 x 36 Garage project remains unfinished trim, Electrical, and drive way damaged. Lee Greene of Ken Green Contractor engaged July of 2018 to complete a Garage project that today 4.7.2019 pictured below.
