  Rather than receiving representation from my CPA, I have effectively been representing myself throughout the audit process. I have personally communicated with the auditor, responded to requests for information, gathered and provided supporting documentation, and monitored the progress of the audit. These are responsibilities that I specifically hired Mr. Jones to handle on my behalf. In addition to his failure to fulfill his representation duties, Mr. Jones has been extremely difficult to contact. My attempts to communicate with him regarding the status of the audit, documentation requirements, and responses to the auditor were frequently ignored or delayed. His lack of communication left me without guidance during a critical tax matter and created unnecessary stress, uncertainty, and frustration. I believe Mr. Jones's conduct demonstrates a lack of professional diligence, competence, responsiveness, and accountability. His failure to communicate, failure to submit documentation provided by his client, and failure to actively represent me during the audit have deprived me of the professional services for which I retained and paid him. Because of Mr. Jones's inaction, I have been placed in the position of managing and defending my own case before the Florida Department of Revenue while simultaneously paying for professional representation that was not being provided. This situation has wasted my time, increased my stress, and undermined my confidence in the services expected from a licensed Certified Public Accountant. I respectfully request that this matter be investigated to determine whether Mr. Jones's conduct violates the professional standards and ethical obligations required of licensed CPAs. I am prepared to provide supporting evidence, including correspondence, emails, documentation transmitted to Mr. Jones, records of my attempts to communicate with him, and evidence demonstrating that I was forced to communicate directly with the auditor and provide documents myself due to Mr. Jones's failure to act.
