*Not able to reply directly so my response* Shame on you for lying as the Owner. No one told me anything of that nature. One lady said, “I should have said hey”. I responded, “to who?” (I have no one to talk to). Then she apologized. I believe the food was ready in a small bag sitting on a table in the opposite corner of the room. Not even sure it was visibility to it. I know you don’t expect me to walk around examining your whole store and assuming a bag is for me. So you lied saying I was told that and that they were in the middle of preparing/packing, unless it was conveniently ready right when I went up and complained. And regardless, someone should not be waiting 10 minutes and counting with no acknowledgment. What if I wanted to sit down and eat? Then what? Waited at the front with 0 help or acknowledgement for 10+ minutes. No one in sight besides the Sushi chef. Only received help when *I* had to walk over there and get their attention. Then that’s when the people from the back came out.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tamara is the best server!!! 💫💫💫 When we moved to the Saint Augustine area from Upstate NY, we struggled to find a fresh sushi spot. A friend recommended Kamiya 86, and we’re so glad we gave it a try—now it’s our go-to place for sushi! We’ve been regulars here for the past 5 months, and they haven’t disappointed us once. The fish is always fresh, and the quality is consistently excellent. Tamara is such an amazing server—friendly, attentive, and she makes the experience even better. We especially love ordering the Love Boat for 3, along with the spicy tuna roll and white fish tempura roll. Everything is delicious! If you’re looking for fresh, consistently great sushi in St. Augustine, this is the place to go.

As a sushi connoisseur, I have to say the sushi here is delicious. Everything I had was top notch and absolutely amazing. Byron the sushi chef is highly skilled and an extremely cool guy. Tamara the waiter provided excellent service.
