I moved in to a filthy townhouse. The dustpan shows what i swept up just from the living room area. I had to mop the floors 3 times before they stopped turning the mop water black. There was feces and dried urine on the toilet seats as well. I paid extra money for a "deep clean" which was them putting several air fresheners around the house. My main bathtub wouldn't drain so I had to use the other which leave rusty bits of metal in the bottom of the tub, coming from the overflow drain. They canceled my work order 5 times. It's been almost a month since I initially put in the workorder and neither tube it fixed. I woke up this morning to water all over my kitchen floor, soaking my new rug. The kitchen sink won't drain and the dish washer over flowed. It smells like sewage in my house. There is still dirty water leaking all over my floor and JWB is making me wait 4 days before sending someone out to take a look. This is the most incompetent group of people I've had to deal with. I've only been here for 1.5 months and am already considering breaking my lease. DO NOT MOVE HERE. (Bonus picture of the fridge mildew)
Unfortunately, aside from how easy it was to get the lease signed, our experience has been disappointing due to several issues that should have been addressed prior to our arrival. Upon receiving the key code on Friday, I immediately noticed the following concerns and reported them via phone, along with pictures and videos: The home was dirty, both inside and out. The exterior, including the fence, is in need of pressure washing. The lawn was overgrown with ankle-deep weeds (though I appreciate that someone was sent yesterday to mow). There is a hole beside the dishwasher stuffed with a paper plate and paper towel, filled with dirt, food debris, and broken glass. Dead roaches in every room. An outlet has been completely painted over, making it unusable. The kitchen faucet nozzle barely functions. Broken garage door openers- neither work. I understand that upkeep becomes our responsibility once we move in, but these issues should have been addressed before our arrival. Additionally, our lease states that part of our deposit will be withheld for cleaning upon move-out, yet the home was not well cleaned before our move-in. Given the HOA’s strict standards, we should not have to take care of these problems while simultaneously moving and cleaning our previous home. Unfortunately due to time restrictions with our move, we have had to start moving things in. I really hoped to have at least received a response and a plan for justifying how poorly things were left for us.
Recently moved into a JWB Home put down a deposit for 30 days so they had 30 days to make sure the house was ready to move in, but when I moved in the AC was not working, which I told them it wasn't working when I came to view the house and the house also smells like sewage and or gas. It has been about a week and a half now and none of These things have been fixed this is unacceptable they had 30 days to make sure this place was ready
So far I have not had the best experience with JWB Rental Homes. We had issues with our exterior doors and a day after move in was not able to use the main kitchen sink. These should have all been addressed prior to move in.
I’m happy and grateful for JWB! They helped me get set up with my rental. Andrea & the JWB family made sure everything went as smoothly as it could during my move in and now that I have been moved in to my rental the team still continues to provide excellent prompt service when I need assistance. Thank you to the JWB family for always being here for me! Highly recommended based off of my experience so far!
