If you are looking for fish and chips this is a delicious place. I was visiting from Los Angeles, me and my Son stopped at Junior’s Seafood and we were not disappointed at all. In fact it probably one of the best places we have ever tried. Recommend it 100%.
This is truly a hidden gem in Duval. It’s off Main Street just past zoo parkway. If you could only taste this food with me. Cheesy grits, huge shrimp blackened to perfection. I’m in heaven eating this meal. I added the sweet potato pie bc I’m a southern girl and it gets no better!! Eat here, seriously!!! Everything is made fresh!
Today was my first time coming here and I ordered the special shrimp tacos with an option of grilled or blackened or fry nachos grill with a side order of french fries. The extra tray of french fries is because a waitress named Tammy walked by and asked if I needed more fries because the main platter was about a half order as you can see from the second platter what she brought me. I watched her walk around and ask every guest if they were doing OK, which gets high marks for myself for customer service. This is a very casual atmosphere with people from work on their lunch break, people in suits socializing like they know everybody and everything in between so I highly recommend this as a very casual place for good seafood, and good prices.
Junior Seafood Restaurant & Grill serves up some great fried seafood — crispy, flavorful, and fresh! The gumbo wasn’t quite what I expected, but the staff handled it well and offered me a dessert instead, which I really appreciated. Excellent customer service goes a long way, and I’ll definitely give them another try! 🦐🍰
A PERFECT local place to stop after a visit to the Jacksonville Zoo. The food is fantastic, place is clean, & staff are extremely friendly - especially Robert who gave us wonderful recommendations on what to do next around town. It’s experiences like this that remind us why we travel. They have, and I quote, “the best clam chowder I have ever eaten in my life” - coming from a chef! Thank you all, keep on cookin. We will be back!
