John William Yokitis, DO

Dr Yokitis is a caring and very efficient caregiver. He responds to portal messages exceedingly expedient, making us (my wife and I) feel that we can communicate any problem and get a rapid response. The front office has been very automated, as many have, requiring a Kiosk sign in, and all calls go to an answering service. Thus, the front office is not patient friendly. However, this does not detract from Dr Yokitis' superior patient care.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. John Yokitis and the front desk staff at UF Health. Their condescending and rude behavior left me feeling disrespected and unheard throughout my visit. From the moment I arrived at the clinic, the front desk staff displayed an unwelcoming attitude. Despite my slight lateness, they were inconsiderate and made no effort to accommodate me. They seemed disinterested in assisting me and were dismissive when I asked questions about the paperwork. Their lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was evident, setting a negative tone for the entire visit. Upon meeting Dr. Yokitis, I had hoped for a compassionate and understanding healthcare professional. Unfortunately, my encounter with them was far from that. The doctor's condescending demeanor was apparent from the start, as they spoke down to me and belittled my concerns. Instead of taking the time to listen and address my questions, they rushed through the appointment, leaving me feeling unheard and invalidated. The overall experience with both the doctor and the front desk staff was unprofessional and disrespectful. It is disheartening to encounter such behavior in a healthcare setting, where patients should feel comfortable and supported. The lack of basic courtesy and empathy displayed by both parties was truly disappointing. I strongly advise anyone seeking medical care to consider alternative options before visiting Dr. Yokitis at UF Health. The condescending and rude behavior exhibited by both the doctor and the front desk staff is simply unacceptable and does not align with the standards of quality healthcare. In conclusion, I hope that they take this feedback constructively and work towards improving their patient care and professionalism.
