Inguinal Hernia - Dr. Koppman is a fantastic surgeon. He is calm, patient, takes time to explain all aspects of procedures and, most of all, he is extremely skilled. Going into surgery, I was very apprehensive about pain after the procedure. I followed Dr. Koppman’s directions and had little to no pain and no complications. Office staff and outpatient hospital staff of Flagler Hospital (UF Health) were also very kind, helpful and thorough. I highly recommend him for inguinal hernia repair. If there was a rating higher than 5 stars he would have it!
My recent hernia surgery was handled by Dr. Koppman and the team at Flagler Hospital Outpatient in an extremely professional and excellent manner. I highly recommend both to anyone without reservation. Dr. Koppman' s office staff was top notch as well, and she made office my visits enjoyable.
Dr. Koppman fixed an epigastric hernia back in 2016. I’ve had no issues with it since. The quarter size protrusion on my abs has stayed gone! The 3 mini scars healed over time & I was even able to do some modeling print work in fitness! I made the March 2024 cover of Muscle & Fitness Hers SA, marketed in South Africa. (Check Instagram at @muscleandfitnesshersmag) I was overweight 40+ pounds in my 20’s and lost it with cutting calories to 1500. I’ve kept it off since by maintaining calories not to exceed 2,000 a day, & fitness training. I do refer Dr. Koppman to friends or contacts with hernia issues. I also ask his office for referrals on occasion.
Dr. Koppman is an exceptional surgeon. He is compassionate, caring and professional. This man saved my life. Anyone fortunate enough to have their procedure done by Dr. Koppman, should feel confident to be in such qualified hands. I highly recommend this doctor.
DrKoppman treated me for an incisional hernia with excellent reults. An excellent communicator, surgeon, and he cares!
