All of the construction has been completed and it's open again. All brand new railing and banisters. The boardwalk itself is in good shape and the pavilions are in good shape. Lots of water! Seems to have cleaned up very nicely no signs of anyone living there and not trashy at all. The bathrooms look fairly decent all in all I'd say give it another shot looks like Nassau county has stepped up and cleaned up.
Nice SMALL walking area. I expected a bit longer walking area but it was a nice little stop. If you want to sit and enjoy the Peace and not stroll it's perfect for you.
A nice quarter mile boardwalk with a few benches to sit on along the way. There's a public bathroom in the parking lot.
A lot of great history there, it’s definitely worth checking out.
Stunning environment, a wonderful atmosphere, and a great backstory! I love it here.
