Outstanding medical care and a fantastic support staff. Dr. McGetrick manages my kidney stone treatment with tremendous expertise and kindness. I am enormously grateful for the high level of professionalism and care shown by Dr. McGetrick and his staff at the World Golf Village office.
Fresh off of a kidney stone surgery last week and stent removal yesterday (12/23). I went out to breakfast with my lovely GF. We sat down at Metro…low and behold Dr. McGetrick was stalking me! Listen up folks. You need a urologist? GO HERE! Doc is excellent, his staff is excellent. You like new clean equipment? Tired of the same old fashioned urology? Go see the folks down at Ackerman Urology you will not be disappointed.
Staff was great Dr was amazing. We cracked jokes and listen to music, made me feel real comfortable. For such a private and uncomfortable moment in my life, they made me feel really good - 😊 you could tell they’ve been around the block a few. 5⭐️
Doctor was affable and professional. He was particularly respectful of my decisions, but not before highlighting what I could expect and the risks I would have to consider. I truly appreciate his information and advice. Dr. McGetrick has been a very special and compassionate professional. With a depressing diagnosis of prostate adenocarcinoma (Gleason 7 (4+3), incomplete bladder emptying, and urethral stricture, I came to Dr. McGetrick, and he decided to perform a TURP before starting radiation. Surgery was excellent, without complications. Recovery has been satisfactory. Today, at the postoperative check-up, Dr. McGetrick greeted me with a wonderful smile and told me that he had great news for me: “Surg Path was negative for intraductal carcinoma and for invasive carcinoma”. I was completely astonished, speechless, and with a strong and renewed desire to move forward. Thank you, Dr. McGetrick.
My first call was answered. I saw the actual doctor on my first visit. Everyone I interacted with, is so nice and smart! They even have nice music playing in every room. Dr. McGetrick is great!!
