  This was my first time bringing my 8-month-old pup to this dog park. Parking in the area was easy and plentiful, which was a big plus. There were several small dogs in the small-dog area, and everyone seemed friendly. The main issue for me was the layout of the park. A large portion of the small-dog area is a big sand pit, with grass only on one side. While I understand it’s a dog park, the lack of grass wasn’t ideal. My pup ended up extremely dusty and dirty. It was definitely a mess to deal with once we got home. I also tried using the water fountain to fill the bowls that I believe are provided by the park, but the fountain wasn’t working. Another visitor suggested checking the hose outside of the small-dog area in case the pipes were still shut off from recent freezes. The hose worked fine (someone else turned it on with no problem), so I’m not sure what was wrong with the fountain in the small-dog area. On the positive side, there were poop trash cans available, and I believe bags were provided. There were also balls for the dogs to play with, which was nice. Overall, the only reason I wasn’t completely satisfied with this visit was the amount of sand and the limited grass. If that doesn’t bother you, this park may be a good option, but personally the dusty conditions made it less enjoyable for us.
