A million thanks to Jody for a really wonderful design process! We have now worked together on two homes! We moved in just a little over 2 years to a new home here in Florida! I wanted to use as much of the furniture I had in a completely different space! I was so thrilled with how our home on Saint George Street looked and felt and I wanted to make sure our new place was as charming and beautiful! Jody worked so well with me…I am eclectic in taste and pretty opinionated about how things should look! (Not everyone’s dream client)! That said Jody was collaborative, provided wonderful guidance, had a fabulous group of contacts to “get the job done right”! I highly recommend her for any design project you may have, she’s a delight!
Jody is a miracle worker! I purchased a condo at Ocean Grande in S. Ponte Vedra Beach while I was living in another state. I flew in to meet Jody at the condo which was a gut job. We went room to room and discussed the look I was going for... from flooring to tile to drapes & wallpaper for the main living spaces. The bathrooms lighting, hardware, wallpaper, vanities, tub etc. were also discussed. Also style of furnishings...Then I went back home. Jody coordinate everything from demo to permits...entire renovation while I was home welcoming my first grandson! Communication was top notch... allowing me to choose between suggested items I couldn't be happier and highly recommend Jody!
I contacted Jody to design my front entryway, and also choose bed linens for my guest room. Although her business is located in St. Augustine, Jody traveled to Palm Coast for a complimentary consultation. I found that Jody is very friendly and easy to work with. She is also a CALM person, which I imagine comes in handy with her line of work. For the entryway I wanted a wreath, dual doormats, a sitting area, flowers, foliage, and wall art. Since I don't have a green thumb, I asked for only artificial greenery. All the items Jody chose were GORGEOUS, and I now have the loveliest entryway in the neighborhood! My guest room had some preexisting decor, but it was unfinished. Jody picked the PERFECT set of bed linens and accent pillows from a company called Annie Selke. I never would have found these beautiful items on my own. Jody also spent a lot of time searching for two nightstands to complete the room. I was blown away by how everything turned out, especially since Jody had to work within strict HOA constraints for the front entryway. Jody hit every box that I asked for, really. I highly, highly recommend Jody Marcil Design.
Jody was so easy to work with, had great vision and creative ideas, paid attention to detail, masterfully managed all the moving parts and ensured that I would love the results...and I do! I live in Buffalo, NY and she managed everything via email and text messages. Highly recommend!
Jody saved our relationship! Remodeling is fun until you have to make design and color selections. And in came Jody! She listened. Researched. And then presented selections that were acceptable and pleasing to both of us. She purchased all of the materials and also coordinated her design and material selections with our contractor so we could relax and enjoy the experience. Thank you Jody! We love our bathroom.
