JJ’s Auto Care

I’d highly recommend JJ’s for any auto mechanic needs. They’re honest, fair, and consistently do quality work. I came in today because of a noise coming from the rear brakes and explained that Midas had tried resurfacing the rotors and adjusting the calipers, but the noise still happened when reversing and braking. JJ’s inspected everything and discovered the sound was actually coming from the front brakes. Since they had done that work last year, they fixed it for free.

JJ's is the only place I want to take any of my cars to. Every time we have gone there they have gone over and above to provide the best service possible. We have known Rob Ringgold for years and can always trust what he tells us about any repair/service that we may need. He have even helped us find other good places to go when JJ's don't handle what is needed.

Family has been coming here for 10+ years and they have always taken great care of us. I’ve had so many issues going through the dealership for service. JJ’s has always been very accommodating and you can tell they value every costumer. Most importantly, they are honest, trustworthy and provide the best service.

I went back and forth for a few weeks before posting this review. I took my car to JJs because hot air was coming out of my vents when I had the AC on. I was told I needed a new condenser and it would be about $1500. I needed cool air in the summer so I paid it in full. I was able to pick my car up right before they closed and on my way home I noticed I couldn’t change the air from top to feet or to windshield. I called back they told me they would fix it if I dropped it back off the next day. I was unable to take it back because of work. I used the car to travel that weekend about 5 hours south. In that trip I noticed the AC was not working properly. 5 hours from home my car started over heating (something that had never happened) and it broke down in a parking garage. I had to get the car towed back to Jacksonville where I was told that it was unrelated to the repair that was just done. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I paid another $1000 to JJs to fix the new problem and fix the previous problem of the air and features not working. I went to pick up my car and this time the car was blowing cold air on the drivers side and hot air in the passenger side. I took the car back to JJs. Next day they called said it was fixed. It wasn’t. They called again and said we got it all fixed all the selections work and the air is cold on both sides. It worked one day then bam back to hot on one side. Now JJs told me I needed a blend motor which was $2200. So in summery I’ve given them $2500 they’ve tried to fix my AC 4 or 5 different times (not exaggerating) and now it’s something else? I don’t think they ever knew what was wrong and were just throwing parts at it and in the process messed something else up which I had to pay for. Absolutely do not bring your car here if it’s something that could be difficult they really are incompetent. I didn’t want to write them a bad review but it was the good reviews that initially made me bring my car here I think I should warn everyone else. Realistically all I want is my AC fixed because it still doesn’t work. But I’m not gonna pay another $2200 then it’s going to be something else.
