I took my son to this office because he has been sick and needed answers. The doctor ordered lab work and an ultrasound during the visit. After that, we were simply told to follow up with his primary care physician. There was no phone call afterward, no update on the results, and no explanation about what the next steps should be for his care. As a parent, that was very frustrating. When testing is ordered for a child, you expect some level of communication about the results and a clear plan moving forward. Instead, we were left trying to figure things out on our own. The staff during the visit were polite, but the follow-up process needs improvement. Families should not have to chase down information about their child’s health after tests are ordered. Better communication and clearer guidance would make a big difference for patients and parents.
My daughter saw Dr. Dorsey on 9/5/25 and the experience was great. She even ordered labs based on the info I shared with her, and followed up with the results as soon as they were in. She was a wealth of knowledge w every inquiry I had and compassionate to me when I had a teary moment. That was pretty dope. My daughter has autism, and she was patient, caring, and effective at getting what was needed during our appointment from my child. We are confident moving forward w her medical advice.
Dr Darcey is amazing! She listens to your concerns about your child and is very thorough. She explains the treatment plan for your child and makes sure you understand the plan of care. We didn't feel rushed at the appointment. We highly recommend Dr Darcey!
Dr. Dorsey has been nothing but amazing throughout the whole process. She listens, provides guidance in a clear way, and has been great to my child. I have never felt out of the loop with her. On top of this, her team has been nothing but amazing as well. Helping with referrals, getting information, and making the whole process seamless. They're the main reason a stressful medical issue has been less stressful. Every part of the process from the consultation, the surgery, post surgery conversations, etc. have been nothing but wonderful.
Dr. Dorsey is top-notch in her ability to communicate both with children and with adults. We have had very helpful and positive experiences and know our child is in great hands as we all work together to find a solution and ease the process along the way.
