JaxSpice – Jacksonville Beach

We always enjoy dining at Jax Spice! Our waiter, Sanjeev, provided excellent service and gave great recommendations for our meal. The food was, as always, delicious—we had butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, and the chicken 65 appetizer. The Spicy Margarita and Taj Mahal beer were perfect pairings and never disappoint!

Tried the veg noodles at Jax Spice. Honestly, I would’ve given this place a 5-star rating, but the excessive oil was a big letdown, so I’m giving it 2 stars for now. The flavor of the noodles was actually really good — which makes it even more disappointing. If the oil was reduced, this dish would easily be a favorite. I had it for an office lunch, and the oil made it difficult to enjoy. That said, the beachside location is great, the ambiance is amazing, and the staff is very hospitable. I’d definitely be open to trying again. I hope the team takes this feedback into consideration and improves the oil balance. I’d really appreciate it if someone could reach out regarding this — I’d be happy to update my review after a better experience.

I was very impressed by their menu, which was on a tablet—vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options were clearly labeled, making it easy for those with dietary restrictions. The Samosa Chaat was so delicious, though the presentation could’ve been better. The Biryani was also delicious and can easily feed 3-4 people. The service was great, and the atmosphere was inviting and authentic. The rooftop parking offers beautiful views.

High end Indian restaurant with the best Indian food in Jacksonville and the state of Florida! Also they have happy hour till 7pm everyday. Sanjeev is an attentive server and knows his Indian. Softest toilet paper in all restaurant settings ever.
