I've been seeing Dr. Salek for a couple of years and he has helped me tremendously with my chronic pain with multiple nerve blocks and facet injections involving occipital, cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine regions. He is warm, caring, compassionate and very knowledgeable. I cannot recommend him enough. He gave me the courage to utilize assistive devices when I felt complete embarrassment. I was very hard working, worked for the same company for over 32 years and on my spare time did home improvement projects for many years. I've had multiple cervical surgeries and procedures over the years but things took a turn after I attempted to lift and install very heavy toilets. After that, I started having the worst pain that would not respond to rest and conservative treatments. I thought at age 56, I could not possibly face an inability to function. I was wrong. I resisted using a cane and fell numerous times causing further dysfunction. He gave me the advice to utilize ADs and prevented me from destroying my life further. He is a saint. If there's a heaven, he has a one way ticket. I love him for what he has done for me. This man really cares about his patients. If you get to have him for a doc, drop to the ground and thank the heavens for the opportunity. Listen to him. He is a genius and an awesome human being. I only edited for a misspelling. My opinion is concrete.

Had such a wonderful experience as my first visit to Jax Spine & Pain. All of their staff members are so kind & extremely helpful. Especially Dr. Maggie Garcia, who is absolutely wondeful. Upon her review of my MRI, she knew immediately how much pain I've been going through and exactly what was needed to relieve me of that pain. From our initial meeting, she demonstrated such a compassionate and caring nature. Her professional advice to relieve my pain was her highest concern and I truly believe that she has me on the right track to restore my quality of life and become pain free. I highly recommend this office & even more so Dr. Maggie Garcia to anyone with chronic pain who is looking for relief.

I saw the doctor over a month ago. He said he would give me Botox injections in my neck since they have worked for me at another doctor's office. They took my Medicare for the office visit with no problems. But when it came to using Medicare for the Botox, they said they don't do it that way. Medicare sent me and them a letter stating that they authorized the Botox with no problem. But JAX spine says I have to pay $170. I spoke with Medicare and they said if they take Medicare, they are supposed to get the authorization and then they bill them. JAX spine won't do it that way. They said they will not pay for it first and then bill Medicare after the injection. If a doctor's office says they will take Medicare, they should take it for everything, not pick and choose. I've lost over a month of getting relief for neck pain. I would definitely NOT recommend this place. They should have told me this upfront instead of making me wait and going in circles to get this resolved. By the way, I tried to speak to someone about this, and it took 3 days for them to get back to me.
