tried to call to keep this a private matter, but saw other people had the same experience so figured a little public shaming wouldn’t hurt either. This morning I was driving on 295 and one of their drivers was tailgating me at 85 miles an hour and then almost hit me when he switched lanes and could not maintain his lane. He continued to drive erratically, tailgate and cut people off on this morning. He was in a marked company vehicle and I have it all on dash cam. I see there’s other reviews similar to this so obviously they’re not trying to do better.
Running the street sweeper while cars are driving by and people are walking is absolutely ridiculous. There is no reason you should be spraying dirt all over people and their vehicles…. Clearly your employees on the wilderness trail job have no regard for the people who live on the street…. Do better.
I’ve gotten dirt from them twice now. They are responsive (hard to come by these days), quick (both times I’ve had dirt delivered next day), and economical. Also, they know their dirt. I explained what I’m doing with my yard and they told me exactly the types of dirt I needed. I have at least two more project I will call them on. Don’t worry about calling anyone else, call Jax Dirtworks and be done with it.
Jax DirtWorks employees strike again. Other reviews have called out employees of this company for public behavior. I’m doing the same. I was at a Gate off Southside today when several Jax Dirtworks trucks pulled up. Inside they were all smiling. Friendly. Sharing hellos and being just generally courteous. I went outside and one of their trucks was parked next to mine. The guys rolled down the window and we had a great exchange of humor, pleasantries and just in general good tidings. It’s clear these guys feel valued and loved, and are amazing representatives of the company. I now kinda just want to order some dirt and hang out with them more. Yall keep doing what you are doing!!!!
I wanted to share what I observed today. I own a Construction company (Grovin Construction) and am familiar with the challenges with having employees and multiple commercial trucks on the road with the company name printed on the side. The general public is more likely to share negative experiences than positive ones. I was Getting fuel at a gas station in Middleburg today when an older gentleman transporting lumber on the roof rack of his truck slowed to turn into the gas station. A large bundle on unsecured lumber fell off the truck and scattered across Blanding Blvd. Jax Dirtwork employees immediately ran over and helped the gentlemen pick up all the lumber and put it back on his truck. Ultimately they didn't have to help the guy, there was another exit they could have used. As a Business owner this is how we hope our employees will conduct themselves, be courteous, be respectful, be professional. Theses 2 employees today did that and I felt it was worth sharing. I believe the name printed on the drivers door was Austin. Regards, Kye
