I was fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Betchkal by one of her other patients when I first moved to Florida in 2013. I’ve worked for 3 different hospital system here and have had insurance that didn’t include her in their network, but I didn’t care. She is the crème de la crème of glaucoma specialists and I wouldn’t trust my eyes to anyone else! I’ve had trouble keeping my pressure down but she always finds the right treatment and so far I’ve not had to have stents placed. She’s never pushed me to do anything and always includes me in the decision making. If I do have to ever have stents, I trust her completely with that process. Her staff are always welcoming, pleasant and professional. You won’t find a better practice for you or your loved ones!
Janet Betchkal has been my daughter's eye doctor for 38 years. She has been the most trusted person in her life. My daughter has benefited from her presence as her Dr.
Care was fine. However, the $461.67 for an eyedrop was unexpected and a strain on my budget and I will have to put on a credit card on top of the $45 co-pay. What will the scheduled laser procedures cost me. When I called to talk to doctor on Friday and ran into a firewall and the return call did not come until midday Monday and I did not get to talk to the doctor. I was told they would send a coupon for $79. I need to know what the laser will cost and if I need to cancel.
Dr Betchkal is very thorough and takes time to explain any procedure and any eye condition you may have. Her staff is very professional, courteous and kind! I highly recommend recommend her practice!
Great n helpful in ensuring we knew how to find the office. Check in easy breezy. Evelyn and Dr B were awesome! Caring, accomodating, knowledgeable and easy to understand. 100 STARS!!!!!
