Wow! What they’ve squeezed into this space is unbelievable! The facility is old, and the items and materials are well loved but my kids loved playing here. We spent hours enjoying the different types of climbable and interactive spaces and plan to return. For $5-$7 bucks a person you get hours of entertainment indoors. Many play facilities don’t have enough equipment and setups to keep my kids busy for long periods but you can’t say that about this kids museum. Lots packed into the building and lots to keep your kids occupied! This old building has been around for many decades and hasn’t changed a bit.
What a hidden gem! Some reviews made me second guess going but went with a group with 7 kids aging from 2 to 7 and they all had a great time! Yes some toys are worn but everything in working order and everything stayed pretty organized in their section which is wild. My 2 boys definitely want to go back! They loved the grocery store, train, and wheelchair basketball the most!
Very nice place for kids 0-10 to be creative and play pretend, also appreciate the under 2 designated area which was clean and quiet for babies. Staff is nice and prices are reasonable. Although it seems like there’s no A/C and no fresh air.
We go once a week, during the week, around lunchtime and it's not crowded then. I hope they don't upgrade anything, because right now it's nostalgic, reminds me of my childhood, and there's no technology. I've also had good interactions with other parents who visit here. The staff is nice and helpful. It gets messy from time to time, as expected, and the crowds are after school, weekends, and whenever school is out. The toddler room is good for kids 3 and under since some of the other stations are for older kids. We always have a blast and it's hard to leave because of how much fun we have. I have a year long membership which is definitely recommended if you plan on coming regularly.
It’s a nice environment for children, and my toddler really enjoyed the place. However, my biggest issue was the temperature. The thermostat was set to 75° while it was 80+° outside, which made the space feel uncomfortably warm. I feel the facility could really use a deep cleaning and renovation. It looked and felt outdated and run-down in certain areas. I also didn’t particularly like having to sign in using their book. I’m sure they have their reasons for doing so, but it felt a little odd to me. If payment has already been made, I’m not sure what the purpose of the sign-in book is. Overall, it’s a nice family outing, and my toddler enjoyed it, but there are definitely some areas that could be improved. Unfortunately, my family and I won’t be returning.
