This was a wonderful experience! The fact that they are helping such a gentle endangered species survive, heal and go back into the wild is one example of humanity at its best. Attractive area, easy walk around and to view the manatees. The entrance into the zoo is designed well. It gently flows to where you want to be. Why not lead with what is arguably the best exhibit? Cindy is a great manatee ambassador! She answered every question I had with a smile and didn’t rush or push facts. Her way for sharing her manatee knowledge is natural and organic which I appreciated! Her love of manatees is shared. Thank-you Cindy!

Overall, great zoo. Can't help but feel for some of the animals though. For instance, the male jaguar was pacing and panting. The elephants also seemed very bored and unhappy. :( As far as zoos go, though, this has been the best ive been to.
The manatee exhibit is really large with multiple viewpoints for guests. I enjoy seeing the local manatee as they are temporarily receiving care.
Very disappointing experience. You walk in, see one water tank, & that’s it. There’s nothing interactive, even the gift shop isn’t about manatees. I really wish they added fish or something more like an aquarium. But to get tickets for this was just a waste of time.
The manatee exhibit is great, but the configuration of the zoo because of it is now HORRIBLE.
