Love the history in this building. Its so beautiful inside. Great theater space!! And Starting a library soon.
My wife and I went to see Big Engine perform on July 18 during the open house. I have to say, the inside of the building was truly amazing—so much history! I've lived in Jacksonville my entire life and have passed this building hundreds of times while working downtown, yet I never realized how beautiful it is. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. This building is truly a hidden gem! Thank you for the tour and for opening such an incredible place to the community. P.S. Y'all need to hold more shows there! We'd definitely be back!
That area can be a bit better like cleaner it seem like the building is there just for show and they need they own parking lot because when other lots filled up no one can not park in their lot cause they will call police and say that you trespassing
Getting ready to perform a tribute show at the Scottish Rite Theatre. Got a tour with all the history. Yes, one of Jacksonville's historical landmarks 100 years old, Egyptian Revival. It is awe inspiring! Can't wait to go back, and show off this wonderful venue. November 9, 2025.
