Jacksonville Piano Man Michael Joseph Murphy - Accelerated Piano Studies

Michael Joseph Murphy is an outstanding piano teacher! Both of my kids have been learning with him, and they’re making incredible progress. He has a real gift for making lessons engaging and fun while still building real skills quickly. What sets him apart is his emphasis on actually playing and enjoying the piano, not just drilling technique. The kids look forward to every lesson and are already excited to show off what they’ve learned. Highly recommend him for any parent looking for a teacher who inspires a genuine love of music!

My boys have been taking piano lessons with Michael for the past seven months, and he has been an incredible teacher and mentor. He is patient, encouraging, and has a gentle way of challenging them to do their best. They always look forward to the songs he selects. We're thankful to have such a positive influence in their musical journey and highly recommend Michael to anyone looking for a talented piano teacher.

Amazing instructor! Michael is extremely knowledgeable, organized and keeps the classes engaging for both my kids with completely different needs and skills. He also teaches them how to improvise and explore other instruments to become a better musician. He is the best!!!

Michael is a fantastic instructor. Instead of years of the same slow progress to make extra money, Michael’s technique in teaching his students the “language” of music is a light at the end of the tunnel for music learning. My daughter started in October. With his color coding levels (like karate) she has advanced from white, to yellow, to green, to blue and will be taking her red test within the month. Black is the only other color level she will have to go and that is for wanting to play in public. With it only being July she can play the piano with ease and red level will move her onto other instruments. His goal is to get them in, get them playing with ease and get them out. I like that he pushes the parents to be involved at home as well to increase the speed of learning. Highly recommend if you have a student passionate about playing an instrument of any kind. He will get them there.
