What a fantastic time going to a Jumbo Shrimp game on a Thursday! Coors Light for a $3 draft is crazy. We weren’t prepared for just how many college kids came to hang around the Tiki Bar area but near the actual seats was less crowded. The older team store was our favorite and had lots of cute shirt options. A great experience for some out-of-towners!
Loved it. Hot dogs we're $2.50. Water is still a bit too steep and too necessary at $4.84ea. Parking $13. We only go early in the season for Paws in the Park - doggie day. We love it. Section 106 F1 and F2 are our thing. About $26ea. Parking is a bit far for the front entrance so drop off the older and dogs with someone closer to the entrance and have them wait for the person who parks. The fan base is growing so the stands are fuller than past years. Merch is pricey. Credit card tap to pay is the way there. No cash anywhere at the ballbark or parking sites. You can easily get away with spending less than $10ea for a drink and hot dog and split a popcorn. We found that more affordable this year than recent past. Good move, Miami Marlins organization for emphasisng affordability.
This was our second visit to the ballpark. It's a great venue, a great place to take your kids to watch a baseball game. We enjoyed the game and got to watch fireworks afterwards. There's plenty of parking, and the food is good. Minor league baseball has a lot to offer, the tickets are much more reasonable than MLB, as is the food. Enjoy a night out with the kids!
Daylight Robbery for drinks - how does this place justify $4.50 for a 35cent bottle of water? Alcohol is even more ridiculous. We bought two bottles of water, a tiny plastic cup of wine, a small plastic cup of beer - it cost $37. We want to support our local AAA baseball team but this kind of fleecing of the fans is unpalatable .
Game was great, chicken tenders and fries dry and cold. To be expected? Shouldn't be.
