Had a great dinner with friends. The food was amazing and even with a wedding going on the staff was able to keep the drinks full and our needs met. We stuck around to watch the sunset and enjoy the atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
My husband and I are incredibly thankful that we found Jacksonville Gold and Country club to host our wedding. What initially felt like a stressful situation quickly became a blessing in disguise after our original venue canceled with only six months remaining. From the moment we toured JGCC, we felt at ease and knew we were in the right place. The venue itself is stunning, but what sets it apart is the incredible team behind it. The event coordinator, Kathy, is a true gem. She is knowledgeable, accommodating, and full of wonderful ideas. Kathy worked seamlessly with our wedding planner to ensure every detail was executed perfectly, allowing our day to be stress-free. The food was outstanding. We selected the prime rib and chicken florentine for dinner, and both were absolutely incredible. We are still receiving compliments from our guests! The staff who worked our wedding were phenomenal. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and hard work allowed us to be able to relax and enjoy our time with family and friends. We are so thankful to everyone at JGCC for doing above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable!
I had the pleasure of working at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club last weekend for my couple's wedding. As a wedding planner who works at multiple venues with different staffs, I must say JGCC is superior in every regard. They are beyond professional, from the catering staff, banquet staff, bar staff, and every role in between, they are event pros who go above and beyond for their clients. Kathy is one of the most responsive, knowledgable, and accommodating Catering/Events Managers I have ever worked with. She creates a level of calmness and peace for her couples that most definitely contributes to the success of their wedding. Kathy was quick to solve problems, provide insight, and was incredible to collaborate with throughout the planning process. I can confidently say this level of care and thoughtfulness cannot be found elsewhere. I will absolutely be recommending JGCC to my couples and cannot praise this team enough. My couple's event would not have been nearly as successful without JGCC, and for that I am incredibly thankful.
We worked with Jacksonville Golf & Country Club to plan and hold our mother‘s 90th birthday party this past weekend… I can’t give enough praise to the chef and the cooking staff… The food was beyond amazing… So delicious and elevated! The servers were fantastic… Caleb, Abby, and Molly made the Afternoon special for us… And the jewel in the crown was A different Molly… The catering manager ….who helped us plan and execute a most amazing special unique birthday party for our mother. Thank you, Molly and all the staff at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club… You Help to make our memories, indelible, and incredible!
Lovely facility. Enjoyed playing a match here. The shop has a great selection of women and men’s tennis clothing. The staff was very nice.
