I’ve been Karol’s client for over 2 years now, and I absolutely love what she does with my hair every time. She perfectly blends my touch-ups with my root color, and the way she adds highlights makes them look so natural — like they’re my own. I always get my ends trimmed to keep split ends away and help my hair grow healthier and faster. Karol does an amazing job with this; she never takes off too much or too little. She always leaves me with exactly the length I want while trimming just the parts that need it. Highly recommend Karol if you want beautiful, natural-looking color and a precise, healthy trim!

⭐ 1 STAR — Extremely disappointing experience I unfortunately cannot recommend CAROL THE OWNER at In Vision Hair Design based on my experience. I went to Carol for my blonde hair, and I left feeling extremely disappointed with the service and the way my hair was handled. To give some context, when I originally went in, my hair was NOT the dark color shown in the photo below. My blonde had simply grown out over the course of a few months. It was not some drastic color transformation that needed to be completely redone. I essentially needed my roots touched up and the blonde that had grown out refreshed. Despite this, I paid for a full highlight. The highlighting technique I received was not what I expected, and the process left me extremely unhappy with my hair. What made the situation even more frustrating was that another person working at the salon actually had to convince Carol to put toner on my hair before I left. After the toner was applied, my hair actually looked beautiful and blonde when I left the salon. I was relieved and thought maybe everything had worked out. Unfortunately, that was NOT the case. I was specifically told by Carol that there was “no way” my hair would turn brown or yellow again. I trusted what I was told and followed the aftercare very carefully. I waited a full week before washing my hair, purchased the shampoo and conditioner I was told to use, and did not use heat on my hair at all. After washing it, the color changed dramatically. This is what my hair looked like after ONE WEEK and one wash. The beautiful blonde I had when I left the salon was gone, and my hair was left looking significantly darker, brassy, yellow/brown, and completely different from what I had walked out with. And again — I had not gone into the salon with hair this dark. My blonde had simply grown out. I paid for a full highlight, and the end result after one wash was worse than what I had started with. I called Carol because I was extremely unhappy and wanted to discuss a refund. She refused to give me one. I was especially frustrated because I had followed the recommended aftercare and had been specifically reassured that my hair would not turn brown or yellow. I also felt uncomfortable with the way the business handles highlighting clients. From my experience, Carol seemed to keep the highlighting clients for herself rather than allowing the other stylists to take those appointments. I cannot speak to her intentions, but as a customer, it gave me the impression that the higher-priced highlighting services were being kept for her rather than distributed among the other stylists. Ultimately, I had to find another stylist to fix the situation. Thankfully, I found Erida, and she completely turned the situation around. After being so nervous about trusting another stylist, she made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns, and was able to get my hair back to the blonde I wanted. She also managed to keep my hair feeling soft and healthy, which was something I was extremely worried about after my experience. The difference was honestly night and day. I went from being embarrassed and upset about my hair to actually feeling beautiful and confident again. I understand that blonde hair can be complicated and that toner naturally fades. What I don’t understand is being told there was “no way” my hair would turn yellow/brown, following the recommended aftercare exactly, having the color dramatically change after one wash, and then being refused a refund when I brought the issue back to the stylist. I also don’t feel that I should have had to pay for another professional to correct work I had already paid for. I am sharing this review because I wish I had known what to expect before spending my money. My experience was extremely disappointing, and I personally would not return to Carol for a highlighting service. I’m grateful that I eventually found Erida because she was able to fix what I had been so upset about and made me feel like myself again.

Tila is my go-to stylist for my cut and highlights. She listens and works with me to get what I want. Her prices are reasonable for what I’m getting. She’s had a lot of experience as a Master Stylist and I’m a very satisfied customer

I moved to Jacksonville 26 years ago from California. Up until a year ago, I've been to countless salons all over Florida. They usually do a great job the first time maybe even a second time, but by the third visit the quality always seems to go downhill. I had gotten so frustrated that I would actually fly back to California just to get my hair done because no one here seems to know how to work with my thick, difficult, Middle Eastern hair. Then I found Karol. She is without a doubt the best hairstylist I've ever had. I've been going to Karol for almost two years now and that's the longest I've ever stayed with any hair stylist. That has never happened before. She has earned my trust completely and I honestly wouldn't let anyone else touch my hair, and now my daughter who's even pickier than I am has started going to Karol. I've never seen her so happy. Thank you so much Karol!
