Our family comes here for compressions due to POTS and Lymphatic issues. The staff is amazing, professional, and easy going. They work with various types of insurances. IF by chance you do not have insurance let them know so they can find the best options for you so you can get your compressions or any other items they can help with your needs as they are a nonprofit. Please note they have moved to a new location at 1835 3rd Street North, Jacksonville Beach.
May God heal those who have illnesses and may God bring hope to those who need hope! For I pray that Jesus guides the hands and minds of the doctors who do their best to do whats only within medical ability and I pray that God takes care of what doctors cannot and together they help to end Cancer from this earth!
I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with my recent experiences with "In the Pink". I first called for assistance with hair removal after experiencing chemotherapy related hair loss, but I never received a response. I called a second time regarding a wig and scarf, and again, my voicemail was not returned. On both occasions, I called during advertised business hours. Failing to answer calls or return messages is unacceptable, especially for an organization serving individuals going through difficult medical treatments. Based on this experience, I will no longer support or donate to this organization.
My experience with In the Pink is less than ideal. I wish I took this one woman name down who I spoke to. I had missed my appointment between my treatments and physical therapy and when I realized I called immediately and apologized. This woman chewed into me. When I mentioned no one called as a reminder she told me it's not their job to do so and that they don't have time to give a reminder. The tone and attitude from her had me livid and almost in tears. Not the way to speak to a client. I can't stand when the VA sends me to them. I even left my last sleeve because I was never even told it arrived and I would rather not speak to them to come get it. Really disappointed.
I am at the stage in chemotherapy where is falling out. I called over a week ago and the person I spoke to talked so low I could barely hear her. After explaining that I needed my head shaved I was told, in an apathetic, indifferent attitude, that the earliest appointment was 10 days out. So I have had to go through the embarrassing process of clumps of hair everywhere and bald patches. I feel that she could have found a way to squeeze me me in but she couldn't have cared less.
