You'd never know there was a lovely park nestled in this unassuming neighborhood. There are two playgrounds, small and bigger, plus a neat climber. Forest Park has a big grassy area and lots of shady trees. There's a serene pond at the back of the park. Beware one side of the park is no parking and there isnt a parking lot.
Awkward parking but a surprisingly big park for how it looks when you first walk up. Nice shaded grassy areas. It's a bit steep by the water but the waters pretty
Cute little park! Seems well maintained. Bring bread for the ducks in the nearby pond.
Needs a refresh, old with rusty spots and a few places where boards have covered unsafe broken rusty pieces. They say it will be remodeled in the spring. No parking so you need to park on the side of the street. Please don't park on people's lawns. Check the playground carefully before loosing your kids. 3 times now, my husband and I have cleaned broken glass off the toddler playset.
We stumbled upon Huntington Forest Park during a yard sale outing, and it's a fantastic spot for kids. The playground equipment is in excellent condition, and the park offers a lovely view of a lake. The only drawback is the limited parking available.
