Hunter's Run Apartments

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I have been going through the application process with this complex for over a month now I was told a week ago I was approved and then told I have an appointment today (Saturday sept 5) at 11am to sign my lease and receive keys. Upon arrival to the complex Kaylyn stated she didn’t have any further news about my application and if I had been approved I stated Will told me to come in to sign my lease today. And the other lady who works there already gave me a unit number and I have already turned on my wifi water and electric. While trying to figure this out she stated she can accommodate me the best she can and her “accommodation” was sending my application to an auditor. But mind you they had already previously called and said I was fully approved and ready to sign my lease. At the end of the day this complex has very poor management and poor communication between their leasing agents and managers.

Not only were the two ladies who helped me very sweet. They were understanding and educated. They explained everything precisely and perfectly. I would recommend many others who are in need of housing to come and check these apartments out.

Water was leaking from an empty unit and eventually started seeping into mine, causing water damage and mold. They refused give a timeframe for mold and damage clean up and repair. I had to send a letter of intent before they would even address it, the. They tried to make me evacuate with less then 24 hours notice and no explanation as to what was going to be done and would the wall be completely removed, is it safe to have my furniture in there. They never even came to do a thorough check of my unit. I wound up finding mold in my closet, both bathrooms, in my kitchen cabinet, behind my stove, and behind a cabinet. I asked to be moved to a new unit and they said that would take time. Then they came out to take pictures but wound up on photographing all the areas without mold and began to downplay the issue. I decided it was time to leave. Found a new place in 5 days. The floor I was on now only has one tenant and they are packing up too, mold issues as well. The management never returns calls, they are condescending and rude. They do not care about the health and well being of their tenants. Do not rent from them. You’ll regret it.

I was shown an apartment that was extremely dirty and on top of that there were dead and alive roaches all over the place when I said something about it the excuse was well e we live in Florida there's always going to be roaches everywhere you go. And this was suppose to be a model apartment. The lady who showed me apartment was very nonchalant and looked liked she was just tired and ready to go. The pool was closed due to it not being up to code with the health department. First time impressions are everything and they failed at it.
